    1. If you’ve entered your email, look for an email from Experts Online in your Inbox. Nothing there? Check your Spam folder. Open the email and click the link inside to create a new password.

I don’t want to share my real name when using Experts Online. Is that possible?

Of course, you can use a nickname on Experts Online instead of your real name. We encourage you to avoid including personal details in your nickname (e.g. using your first or last name).

To ask a question on Experts Online, you need to have an active subscription. If you’re already subscribed, go to Chat, type your question, and click “Send”.

One of our experts will join the conversation and assist you until your issue is fully resolved.

How many questions can I ask here?

As a Experts Online member, you can ask as many questions and solve as many issues as you need—there are no limits. Your subscription gives you unlimited access to expert help for as long as it’s active. You can also ask questions on behalf of your friends and family.

How to ask follow-up questions to my expert?

Just type and send your follow-up questions directly in the Chat window. Your Experts Online expert will stay with you in the chat and continue helping until your issue is fully resolved.

How can I change my question or reply?

Currently, you can't edit your messages on Experts Online. If you need to correct or clarify something, type a new message in the Chat and click the “Send” button. Your expert will see the update and continue assisting you.

How to add attachments to my messages?

To add an attachment:

  1. Click the paperclip icon in the Chat window.
  2. Select the file you want to upload, and confirm.

If the upload is successful, your photo or document will appear just below the message box.

What attachments can I add to my messages?

You can attach photos, screenshots, and files up to 5 MB when solving your issue with a Experts Online expert. If your file is larger than that, you’ll need to resize or compress it before uploading.

I can't log in to my Experts Online account. What should I do?

Sorry to hear you’re having trouble logging in. Here are the steps to try:

  1. Carefully re-enter your email address and password. Use the same ones you signed up with. Look out for typos, and check if Caps Lock is on.
  2. Forgot your password? Go to the Password Reset Page. Enter your email or phone number you signed up with and click the “Continue” button.
    1. If you used email: Look in your Inbox (or Spam folder) for an email from Experts Online. Open it and click the link to create a new password.
    2. If you used your phone: You’ll get a text message with a link. Tap it to reset your password.
  3. Try turning on all cookies in your browser (guide for Google Chrome) and add Howly to your list of trusted sites.

What is my username? I seem to have forgotten it.

Your username for Experts Online is the email address you signed up with. If you’re unsure which one, check your inboxes for any emails from Experts Online.

Also, you can go to our Password Reset Page and try entering email addresses you might have used. Once you enter the correct one, we’ll send a password reset link to that email address.

How can I change my current password?

To change your current password:

  1. Go to the Edit settings tab in your account.
  2. Find the Change password section.
  3. Enter your current password, then type your new password.
  4. Click the “Change” button to save your new password.

"This email is already taken." What does it mean?

It means you already have a Experts Online account linked to this email address. To access your account, go to the Sign in page. Enter that same email address and your password, then click Sign in.

I don't want to receive email notifications from you. How can I unsubscribe?

We send emails primarily to keep you updated about transactions, important updates, and more. It’s recommended to keep these on so you don't miss anything important.
